We grieve for that unconditional love, but we are better people for having had it in our lives.

Undeniable statement. Unconditional love is the best, and when it's gone boy, do we grieve, but we are better people for having had it. Such a wonderful post. Thank you for sharing.

It is bittersweet to accept an animal as a family member into your heart knowing one day that you will have to part, at least physically, yet none of us would change it for the world, that's how much that relationship means to us. Thank you for sharing.

So true I'm incredibly sad over losing my girl but I would do it all over again because every day we had together was amazing!

Thank you. The unconditional love never dies. Only the physical body dies. They still love us, and they are lovely Souls. Even though the parting tears us in two, it doesn't last forever. Unconditional love is the strongest highest force in the Universe.
We are so lucky that they ever came to share that with us.
Hold the love like a little light. It is all you have, or will ever have, to find your way home.
