Dear Louise, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. You're still in the grips of those early days of sorrow, and I know it feels as if you will never smile again. You will, I promise. It takes time, but we do heal and we do smile again. I wish there were a formula for how long it takes, but it's different for each of us, and with each loss we face. Nothing about it makes sense, except for the fact that we just have to be patient and allow the healing to come to us at the right time. Please come back and tell us all about Arthur and the wonderful time you had with him. It really does help to remember those happier times, and to sahre them with others who understand the scope of your loss. I promise you that my angel kitties, Bingo and Buddy, are watching over Arthur, and they will help him learn to send you crystal clear signs that he lives in spirit and in your heart forever and always. My boys are very good at sending those signs, and I promise you that when you receive one, you will know it for what it is. You and your sweet Angel Arthur are in my thoughts and prayers, and I look forward to learning all about Arthur through your loving memories.
My heart is battered and bruised, but I will not let it break. It holds such precious cargo, I must protect it now. (Susie Squillions)

In one of the stars, I shall be living.
In one of them, I shall be laughing.
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night.
