The grief me and Purry’s dad are feeling is overwhelming. But the grief of our other fur babies, Clawed cat & Obie puss trumps ours. They search for him and cry. It’s almost a yodel of some sort. It’s heartbreaking 😔. We’re doing the best we can by talking to them in a more upbeat, high pitch tone. Trying to reassure them its okay. I secretly cry in my work cubicle. This came so sudden. 11/29-12/9 was just a whirlwind for us. Our 11 year old Spunky Purry was diagnosed with Lymphoma. We expected nothing less than a long life for him. It just wasn’t so. I’m looking forward to hibernating over the next few days as I really don’t want to be part of the holidays. May those of you who have lost your most precious part of you find a moment of solace. With a heavy 💜, Purry’s Mom.

Thanks Purrysmom!
It might be good for your other cats to see that you are grieving and that all is not okay right now, but by reassuring them of how much they are loved they will know that things will be okay. Just my thought.
My condolences on your loss. Hugs to you!
