I found out yesterday that my 6 year-old beagle has Lymphoma and prognosis is not good. Vet told me to just go home and digest the news before making any decisions. If we opt out of chemo/treatment, he has 2-3 months. I cannot stop crying. Only reason I was able to get out of bed is because I have 4 kids to take care of. I am angry at my husband because he is talking to me about fantasy football. Who cares? I don't know how I am going to be able to function on a daily basis.

Kelly; Sorry you got such a poor diagnosis. I've attached a link which has some good information which may help you talk with your vet. http://www.wearethecure.org/lymphoma Hope it is of some help. As far as fantasy football.....perhaps he's trying to cope in his own way. Us guys process things non-verbally, if the two of you have a quiet talk about what you each are feeling it may help. Kind thoughts go to you and your family. Jim

My dog has survived lymphoma for 3 years with chemotherapy. If you can afford it you should look for a second opinion.
