   Dear friends,

          I have been reading with much sadness all of the ill effects that medications have done to our babies.  Now that it is flea, tick, & mosquito time, please let me share with you a natural alternative that worked for my Schnauz.  I would mist him (actually rub him down because he wouldn't put up with my misting nonsense) with dilluted lemon juice before he went outside.  Approximately 90% lemon juice and 10% water.  The juice itself is too harsh on our babies' skin.  I used to watch insects circle him and not land.  If you read many of the human grade insect items, a major ingredient is citric acid.   God's peace to all here
