The white Corinthian columns at the entrance to that little garden with the dog statues -sounds so beautiful. Almost other-worldly. I bet it is a garden of Contemplation and prayer.  Like a thing in a sweetest dream. How lovely.

And it is strangely apt that Puma, Molly, and Shelby's graves are so close by each other.

Maybe that means they also know each other and are friends on the other Side!
That your dear Shelby lived to be 18 is just wonderful. I guess that exceeds a Border Collie's general life-expectancy. But when we love them and they have to leave it doesn't make any difference how old they are....I know.

Bless her Soul, and your other two girls....long passed from this world but always remembered.
Hold the love like a little light. It is all you have, or will ever have, to find your way home.

I didn't think of that. I believe you are right. The white Corinthian columns at AG are probably representative of a Garden of Prayer and Contemplation. The columns are not real tall but they really add a whole new dimension to the atmosphere. Yes, I am so happy that Shelby is so close to Puma and Molly. If they are in Doggie Heaven, Shelby would be playing frisbee; Molly would be the resident therapy dog and Puma would be swimming. I never met a dog (Puma) who loved swimming more than her.
Thanks for your astute observation on the Corinthian columns. Makes perfect sense.

Sending hugs your way,

Jim

Dear Jim....well let's hope Misty is not around where Shelby is playing frisbee in doggie Heaven !
Because Misty would just grab that frisbee and run away with it. She always did that.
Until I told her to "drop". Then she usually would, and wait for me to throw it again. Gave me miles of exercise...up and down retrieving that frisbee ! LOL! She never brought it back.

No seriously now...I think they are in some kind of "heaven", because the energy I received from my girl was indicative of a state of grace, happiness, and freedom. She was filled with it. If she is, then I think they all are.
And the most important thing....it was real. Surprising. Amazing. So alive. Yes I think they are.
Hold the love like a little light. It is all you have, or will ever have, to find your way home.

Yes, I do think that your Misty and my girls are in a better place. Free of disease, at peace with their surroundings and, of course, missing their human family. We shall love them forever,
