It has been a long while since I have been in here. Life happens, right?

Well it is with a heavy and very sad heart that Dixie Kitty's brother, Lynyrd joined her at the Bridge this morning. I will be creating a memorial residency for him very soon. He lived to the ripe old age of 15 (almost 16). He had a wonderful and full life....My heart breaks for my mom as she adopted him from me in 2007. When I bought my home (that I am sadly going to lose soon), and went to bring my cats (Dixie Kitty and Lynyrd) with me, the thought of her buddy (Lynyrd) leaving her made her cry. Since he was happy there with her, I let him stay. She gave him lots of love and food and anything else a grumpy old cat would love....May he rest in peace and keep my Dixie-Kitty company. I am sure they are happy being reunited once again.

Sorry to read about Lynyrd. Sounds like he had a very nice life, both with you and with your Mom. I'm sure Dixie and he will be catching up on old times tonight.

Their love never leaves us.

Hugs to you, Dixie and Lynyrd.

Jim

Thank you for your kind words Jim. He did have a wonderful and full happy life. I think it does make his passing easier to take, and that he has company there. He will have a residency created soon enough.
