Maria
Dear forum friends,

My heart and prayers go out to all who are hurting - stay here and keep talking, I know it will help you just as it helped me when I first found my way to the old Rainbow Bridge forum on June 1, 2005.  This is the place that helped me heal and I know a lot of the "oldies" are still here - hi Susie ... hi Tonya - love you ladies.

During the time I was here almost every day, I saw many people ask for suggestions for a container to keep their furbaby's ashes in and I wanted to share a beautiful container idea, original artwork by a dear friend named Nina.  She does beautiful vases of cats and dogs and she can do one of your special Bridge angel ... here are some of the vases she has made:

I hope all who are hurting, who have recently said goodbye to a beloved animal companion, will find peace and healing ... I have, it took me a couple of years to finally let Ralphie continue on his new journey - I knew my grief was somehow holding him back ... but I've never let go of the love or the memories, those are mine to keep - they give me strength to go on and love other beautiful furbabies he has sent me.

God bless you all ... angel kisses for all your precious fur angels.

Hi Maria!

Love you back, my friend.

I love that you posted a link to Nina's page.  I posted it for some people who had started a thread about memorial containers.  I'm still saving for mine, and I just found a nice big lock of T.J.'s fur that retained the markings nicely (from when he had a fatty cyst removed years ago).  I'm going to send that to Nina when I order my vase so she can see the exact colors of his coat and how they flowed together.

This is the picture of the vase i included with my previous post:.

Maria, thankyou for posting. It helps to have people come back and share, who have gotten farther along on the healing process. You too Susie, I miss your posts as well. Judy

Here's a picture of the finished product of T.J.'s memorial urn from Nina.  I am thrilled with it.
