Here is a little poem I penned, which is dedicated to the lights of my life, and the apples of my eye. Solly, Gonzo, the ultimate companions and friends. Eternally in my heart. I love you, my precious, darling boys. Always and forever.
Though physically you’ve left me, you never truly will,
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
Your paw prints are embedded, on, and in my heart,
And there they’ll stay until the day, from this world I do part.
My thanks I give to both of you, for choosing me to love,
I know you both were sent to me from somewhere up above.
The richness and the joy you brought, can never be replaced,
The laughter and the happiness, which with my life you graced.
I know you’re always with me, forever by my side,
Despite the grieving torture, the oceans I have cried.
The dark days, even darker nights, without my two best friends,
The sorrow and the emptiness, the torment never ends.
But in amongst the blackness, a glow that burns so bright,
My sweet Solly, and Gonzo, two dazzling rays of light.
And I would do it all again, the heartbreak I would bear,
To have them back for one more day my boys and I could share.

Adored, cherished, I was privileged to know you all. Until we meet again, my beautiful babies. Bowls of love and cuddles, your ever-loving, devoted Mummy xxxxxxxxxx
