Chico is doing much better, he is now eating and moving better.  His right eye is now starting to close and blink.  He had paralysis at first in his face and he could not blink his eye.  We have to watch him closely and apply warm compresses to his wounds to keep the drains open,  He should get the drains out on Wed or Thurs. Thanks for all the prayers and support.  My husband and I have been so stressed the last few days but now that he is progressing we are both feeling better.  Chelsea is doing fine from her surgery and should get her stitches out on Fri.  Wow this last week has been very difficult.

Thanks for the wonderful update on Chico.  Are you sure he isn't a cat?  I mean, with the whole "9 Lives" philosophy and all. ;-)

Bless you for taking such excellent care of your little guy.  Please give him tummy rubs and ear scratches for me.

My heart is battered and bruised, but I will not let it break. It holds such precious cargo, I must protect it now. (Susie Squillions)
